   各位来宾，各位朋友，大家春节好！首先，我代表晚晴全体会员，向今天光临大会的各位嘉宾，各位朋友，表示热烈的欢迎和衷心的感谢！特别是，不久前，刚上任的汉密尔顿新市长，首次光临本会，使我们倍感荣幸！谢谢您！今天，新西兰国会议员，各基金会，多元文化委员会，新中友协的许多老朋友，也在百忙中，赶来参加今天的盛会，使我们非常感动和亲切！正是由于你们的大力支持与帮助，我们的团队才能不断发展与壮大！现在我们注册交费的会员就己达到202人。再次感谢你们！传承和弘扬中华文化，是我们的宗旨，春节和元宵节，是中华民族的传统节日，我们幸福地目睹了，中国人民从站起来，富起来，到强起来的伟大飞跃！我们并不是生活在一个和平的年代，只是幸运地生活在一个和平的国家！特别是，能生活在和平，安宁，友好的新西兰！11年前，我来到了可爱美丽的汉密尔顿，亲身感觉到，这里真是：春风和煦，夏雨活泼，秋风悠扬，冬阳温婉。好一个“世外桃园”！我们要继续努力，不断巩固和发展新中友谊，促进和加强与各族群，各社团的交流与合作。在此欢乐的节日里，祝大家：身体健康！阖家欢聚！万事如意！春节快乐！谢谢大家！

Welcome to Our Spring and Lantern Festivals.

Happy Chinese New Year! First of all, on behalf of all our members, I would like to express a warm welcome and our heartfelt thanks to all the distinguished guests and friends who are here today. In particular, it's our great honour to have our newly elected Mayor to attend our first festival celebration in 2020. Thank you!  We are moved and grateful that our MPs Tim Macindoe and David Bennett, representatives from funding organizations, the multicultural council, and the NZ- China Friendship Association  have come to share in  today's event! It is  because of your strong support and help that our society  continues to grow! Now we have 202 registered members. Thank you again!   The Spring Festival and Lantern Festival are two of the traditional Chinese festivals. We celebrate them in order to retain and maintain our culture and a healthy cultural identity. While proud of the rapid growth and development of our motherland we regard ourselves as especially fortunate living in this peaceful, friendly, foreign land. I came to live in NZ 11 years ago, I came to the lovely and beautiful Hamilton, its genial spring breezes, summer rain, lively autumn wind and gentle winter sun. What a "paradise "! We will continue our efforts to consolidate and develop our Sino-Chinese friendship and promote and strengthen exchanges and co-operation with various ethnic groups and communities. In this happy festival, I wish you all: good health, happy families and all the best! Happy Spring Festival! Thank you all!
