--2013年中秋联欢会朱会长致辞



华人的传统节日中，中秋节是欢庆丰收的节日，也是合家团聚、把酒邀月的喜庆之时，更有“嫦娥奔月”的美丽传说，将中秋月夜点缀得浪漫迷人。


The Mid Autumn Festival is a Chinese traditional festival to celebrate the bumper harvest and happy family reunion. There is a beautiful legend about this festival which says Changge, a beautiful fairy flies to the Moon on that day. That demonstrates a dream that Mankind conquers nature and develops science.


明月是故乡的期盼，远离故土思念亲人，身在异乡渴望团圆，我们《晚晴》是金色的年华，我们《晚晴》人都把晚晴当成自己的家。回首人生，老年人是一部历史；把握今朝，老年人是一面旗帜；憧憬未来，老年人是道风景，今天我们邀请汉密尔顿老年关爱中心举办2013中秋联欢会，欢迎大家出席。这里，我要特别感谢彩票基金和社区组织基金，他们也派员出席了我们的联欢会，我们感谢他们对我们华人节庆活动的支持。


The full moon is our expectation. We are longing to meet relatives and friends far away from the homeland. We are now in the golden age. We regard our society as if it is our own family. Looking back on your life, the elderly people are like a history; in the present time, the elderly are like a flag. looking forward to the future, the elderly are like a beautiful scene. Today we are glad to have Age Concern Hamilton to co-organize the 2013 Mid Autumn Festival Celebration; we welcome all of you to this grand event to share our Chinese culture together.Here,I particularly extend great thanks to Lottery Trust and COGS who have funded us in Chinese Festival celebrations.


中秋佳节,在中华文化中极具底蕴，展示丰收喜悦，向往图腾发展，共创和谐文明。晚晴会员与各位朋友，不管是Kiwi也好，还是其他移民族群，来这里共渡中秋佳节，不仅是为了一个圆中秋团圆的梦，更是加强会员和朋友们之间家庭的融合交流，我们也承此机会，立足中新友谊，展示中华文化，让大家加深对悠久的中华文化的了解，让我们携起手来为丰富和发展新西兰多元文化作出努力，并使不同种族、语言和宗教的同胞相互交流，增进共识，进一步加强种族和谐与社会凝聚力，为新西兰的繁荣和发展作出应有贡献。


Mid-Autumn Festival is full of significance in Chinese culture. It demonstrates happiness after a bumper harvest. It means people longing for harmony and civilization and brighter future. Here both Kiwis and immigrants long for strengthening ties and good communication. We would like to take this opportunity, to showcase the Chinese culture, to strengthen NZ-China friendship. Let us join hands to make an effort to enrich and develop the cultural diversity of New Zealand and increase mutual understanding no matter what language, what ethnic group or religion to make New Zealand more prosperous.


我们希望今年的中秋节月更圆、更明；更祈望我们的祖国更加美丽 、富饶；期望祖国更加繁荣、昌盛。期望中新友谊天长地久。


We also hope and wish our motherland more beautiful, richer, more prosperous and stronger.We firmly believe China -New Zealand friendship will last forever!
